Plastic reduction laws vary across Los Angeles County, with over two dozen cities having passed laws to reduce excess plastic and waste from local restaurants, which also helps them save money. We’re working to clarify any confusion and support restaurants and other local businesses with the transition. If you love eating out or ordering in, we need you! Join us as we reach out to restaurants, share info using our Hold the Plastic tip cards, and provide helpful tools to reduce waste and comply with these laws, both in-person and digitally.

Are you on Yelp? Leave reviews encouraging eateries to comply with the new laws or thanking them for complying. You can also make a note if they have a Yelp “eco-friendly business attribute” like providing reusable tableware, plastic-free packaging, BYO container allowed, and more.
